Binance Pool Announces Mining Service Rewards in Altcoin Project Created by Dogecoin (DOGE) Founder Billy Markus
Binance’s mining pool platform announced it is now distributing rewards denominated in a memecoin created by Dogecoin (DOGE) creator Billy Markus. Binance Pool says it has now launched Bellscoin (BEL) merged mining. The mining platform’s users can now mine Litecoin and earn rewards in LTC, BEL or DOGE. Markus created the Animal Crossing-inspired Bellscoin in 2013, eight days before Dogecoin launched, according to the project’s website. It was revived in 2023. Explains the Bellscoin website, “Bells coin has no association with ‘Animal Crossing’ of Nintendo. This coin is simply paying homage to a meme we all love and recognize. Bells is a meme coin with no intrinsic value or expectation of financial return. There is no formal team or roadmap.
